WHAT IS THE WILDFLOWER REMIX 2026 BLOCK OF THE MONTH (BOM) FLOWER QUILT PATTERN AND QUILT SEW ALONG?
Imagine ending next year with a quilt that looks like a field of modern flowers—bold, graphic, and full of movement. That’s what we’ll make together in the Wildflower Remix Block of the Month, a year-long quilt-along.
Each of the twelve blocks is a mini work of art, stitched ENTIRELY WITH FOUNDATION PAPER PIECED (FPP). No curved piecing or applique. Just straight seams and stunning results.

HOW DOES THE BOM WORK?
As soon as you register, you’ll receive a Welcome Packet by email with all the details you need to start planning. Inside, you’ll find fabric requirements, helpful tips, and printable coloring sheets so you can audition your palette before you cut into your fabric. Each month throughout 2026, you’ll receive a new flower quilt pattern block for the Wildflower Remix quilt. It’s like a fresh bouquet of color and fabric happiness to sew each month.
From January through December 2026, you’ll receive a monthly email with:
• A link to bonus video content with tips, tricks, and inspiration
• A downloadable PDF FPP pattern for that month’s block
You can make one block each month or “binge sew” whenever you have time, whatever fits your pace. This is a low-stress, go-at-your-own-speed quilt-along.
I’ll be right there with you throughout the year, cheering you on, sharing insights, and helping you feel confident.
And if life gets busy? No worries. The patterns and videos are yours to keep forever. You can jump back in anytime.
Bonus Paper Piecing Content and Community Connection:
Every month, I’ll share bonus blog posts and videos packed with FPP techniques, color inspiration, and tips that will help you sew smarter and more confidently.
You’ll also get access to maker galleries—a place to see what other quilters are making, get inspired by their color choices, and celebrate your progress together.
A few times a year, we’ll also meet on Zoom for optional, relaxed get-togethers—perfect for Q&A, showing your blocks, and connecting with quilters from around the world.

WAIT, THIS IS FOUNDATION PAPER PIECED (FPP)?
WHAT ABOUT THOSE FLOWER QUILT PATTERN CURVES?
YES! EVERY curve and petal in this flower quilt pattern is Foundation Paper Pieced (no curved piecing or applique required).
The awesome thing about FPP, other than it being incredibly precise, is that you can sew a few straight lines near one another at angles and then it looks like it’s a curve. It’s an easy way to achieve these organic, curvy flowers and leaves! If you look closely, you see the straight lines but if you step back, they look like curves.
WHAT IF I’M NEW TO FOUNDATION PAPER PIECING?
You can absolutely do this, even if you’re brand new and are an adventurous beginner, I’ll guide you every step of the way with videos and clear instructions. Many quilters who joined my past BOMs were brand new to FPP (some have never even made a quilt before) and they made gorgeous quilts! This flower quilt pattern is a great way to practice your FPP skills while creating something beautiful.
It is recommended that participants get familiar and practice FPP before we dig in. I have a free FPP video tutorial/mini-class here. While general FPP instructions are NOT included in the Wildflower Remix patterns, I will be sharing tips, tricks, and best practices that relate to the blocks (which can be used for other projects in the future) on my blog.
Wherever you are with your FPP skills, by the end of 2026, you’ll be amazed how far your paper piecing technique and confidence have come!
WHAT SIZE ARE THE FLOWER QUILT PATTERN BLOCKS AND WHAT CAN I MAKE WITH THEM?
