Stunning Quilt Blocks: Shoreline Shells Showcase #1

We’re almost halfway through the official Shoreline Shells Sew Along and today I wanted to share just some of the beautiful quilt blocks that were made by YOU. I’m so excited to see all of the beautiful seashell and sea glass blocks in progress. Be sure to check out all of the foundation paper pieced (FPP) quilt blocks below made by sewists and quilters—prepare to be inspired! There are so many wonderful color palettes and some customizations that quilters are making to the pattern suggestions. I can’t wait to see more of your quilt blocks. Be sure to keep emailing me photos of what you’re working on!

With the maker’s permission to share, below are blocks made by our quilting community. Enjoy!

Blocks 1-3 with optional sea glass made by Rita G. She is celebrating her 88th birthday this month and says: “I’ve been doing all kinds of quilting since the 1960’s and never liked paper piecing until now. Your intricate designs and thorough thoughtfulness have converted me. A friend talked me into doing this BOM with her and I’m ever grateful.”
