Hello y’all!
Final preparations for QuiltCon are in full gear but I wanted to take a moment to share some of what I’ve been working on and give a booth preview.
If you’ve been following my quilting journey, you know QuiltCon has been a special part of my life since 2015. I’ve not only attended, but I’ve also taught workshops at previous QuiltCons. I’ve had many of my quilts juried into QuiltCon shows and won my very first ribbon for one of my quilts (What’s the Frequency, Love?) at Quiltcon 2015. This event holds a special place in my heart. And now, we’re exhibiting/vending at QuiltCon for the first time (booth #527). We’re also proud to be a Bronze Sponsor for QuiltCon 2024!
Before we get in to our booth… if you’re not familiar with what QuiltCon is, here’s the scoop: QuiltCon is the largest modern quilting event in the world, hosted by the Modern Quilt Guild. It features a showcase of modern quilts, workshops, lectures, demonstrations, and a vendor hall. It happens each year, the third week of February, in a different US city. This year it’s being held in Raleigh, NC for the first time. QuiltCon attracts quilters from all around the world.
What I’ve been working on for our booth
Best-selling quilt patterns + NEW stitching products and more:
We’ll have our curated collection of quilt patterns, acrylic template sets, embroidery kits (including a new addition—Modern Moths), and our brand new zipper pouch kits. We’re also bringing some of our fun sticker sets, recently restocked Bzzzzzz enamel pins, notecard sets, and some new project pouches.
Online/On Demand Workshop Sneak Peek:
Exciting news – I’m (FINALLY!) launching our Double Friendship Knots workshop as an on-demand experience this spring. Secure your spot early and snag an exclusive goodie bag by registering in the booth! (More details and a special launch discount will be announced in a future, post-QuiltCon Three Things Thursday newsletter for friends who can’t attend.)
Specials and Goodies:
We’ll have some show specials and exclusive goodie bags with specific purchases. It’s our small way of saying thank you for shopping in the booth.
Quilt Showcase:
Jason has been busy building quilt ladders and displays so I can display LOTS of quilts. We’ll also be featuring work by quilters like you! Hundreds of quilters have shared photos of their quilts made with Whole Circle Studio patterns and I’ve compiled them into a community display. I can’t wait to share them with the modern quilting community!
Joining me in this adventure is none other than my amazing husband, Jason (and the other half of Whole Circle Studio). We can’t wait to see you and chat!
If you’re attending QuiltCon this year…
Make sure to swing by Booth #527 — if you have a project you made with a Whole Circle Studio pattern and can bring it, please do. Photos are great, but I LOVE seeing quilts in person!
If you can’t attend QuiltCon this year…
I’ll be sharing lots of highlights from QuiltCon in a future newsletter and on the blog. I’ll also be offering special offers post-QuiltCon. Be sure you’re subscribed to the newsletter to be in the know!
