A fun, modern autumn wall hanging quilt or table runner! Leaf Peepers is a modern spin on the traditional half square triangle block. Join the sew along and quilt along and make this for your home or as a gift for Thanksgiving! Leah Day and Whole Circle Studio will walk you through all of the steps of this PDF pattern on their blogs.

Leah and I started the conversation in October 2017 (almost a year ago!) and have been working collaboratively to create a great pattern and weekly Quilt Along. We’re super excited to be able to offer our tips and tutorials along the way. We’ll be making the quilt in our own distinct styles and using different fabrics and quilting motifs. Since we approach piecing and quilting in different ways, you’ll be sure to pick up new tips and tricks. We hope you’ll join in on the fun!

The Leaf Peepers pattern is great for beginners or those who just love Half Square Triangles. The pattern includes lots of diagrams, tips and detailed instructions. Starting August 13, Leah and I will be walking you through all of the steps for getting organized, making each block and quilting. You can expect lots of tips and tutorials from both of us each week. The Quilt Along will wrap up on October 8, just in time for you to finish up your binding and have your mini quilt ready for the fall! This is the perfect project to show off or give away at Thanksgiving.

Each block measures 16″ x 16″ when finished and you can piece additional blocks to make a larger quilt. They also would make super cute placemats.
