It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the Studio making progress on my Rachel Bunny Mellon/Oak Spring Garden Foundation project, so I thought I’d turn on the camera and give you a quick studio update!

In this video, I’m sharing a little bit about the progress I’ve made on a special commission quilt using fabric scraps from Rachel “Bunny” Mellon’s collection for the Oak Spring Garden Foundation. I’ll also show you some of the foundation paper piecing and embroidery I’m working on. Also, it’s time to change out my cutting mat. Let’s unbox my new upgraded mat and check it out!

There’s still plenty of work to do on the quilt, but I’m excited about how it’s coming together. I’ll be sharing more about the inspiration and process behind this project in an upcoming blog post.

Watch the video below, and come behind the scenes with me in the studio!
