I’ve decided to start a new challenge.
Over the past year, I’ve fallen deeply in love with handwork. Mostly needle turn appliqué but I enjoy the meditative quality of all hand stitching. (It also makes me feel less guilty watching tv). While most days I already do some handwork, I’m committing to make at least a few stitches by hand EVERY DAY for the next year and will be posting a daily photo on my instagram account (follow me!). Best thing about handwork—it can be done anywhere, including when I travel!
There will still be LOTS of machine work this year too!
I started the challenge on Monday, April 10, 2017. (Why wait until the beginning of the year to start a year long challenge? Carpe diem!).
