- The Flying Ram: The constellation Aries is named for the ram with the golden fleece in the Greek myth of Phrixus; “aries” is the Latin word for ram.
- Brightest Star: Aries’ brightest star is Hamal, which shines about 66 times brighter than our Sun!
- In Astrology: Aries represents those born between March 21 to April 19.
